• Remaining poppy seeds
• A pen

Daisy and Echinacea: Healing the Heart and Body

This faithful flower’s name is derived from the Anglo-Saxon daeges eage, “day’s eye” since it closes in the evening. The daisy has been used in one of the oldest love charms. To know if your true love is returned, take a daisy and intone “He loves me, he loves me not” until the last petal is plucked and the answer will be revealed. This flower is not just a boon for romance, however. It is also useful in herbal medicine for aches, bruises, wounds, inflammation, and soothing eye baths. • Favorite piece of birthstone jewelry
• Vase filled with fresh water
• 4 of any of the following flowers: yellow daisy, yellow rose, sunflower, or lily

Take a photo of yourself that you love, one that represents you looking both healthful and joyful. Add symbols that represent you: a favorite ring or other jewelry, ideally, with your birthstone, Take the photos and symbol and place it on a pedestal on your altar. In front of the pedestal, place a small vase with four Flowers of Fortune. These posies will bring you abundance which includes both wealth and health. The yellow signifies the vigor and sun-blessed energy that will increase your strength and vivacity every time you speak the following spell:

Place the beloved piece of jewelry on

Set Your Money Intention

Adorn your altar with fresh flowers and three candles in your favorite shade of green. Also, gather a pen and paper. Light the candles and sit in front of your altar while you meditate on what will make you achieve your full potential.

Do you need to change your money habits? Your approach to spending and finances? Do you need to open your creativity?  Do you need to revitalize with a vacation? Concentrate deeply, and choose three intentions for positive change in your life to write down and place under your three candles. Every night for seven days, repeat this spell:

Spell for New Beginnings

This spell can be used to meet someone new or to bring on a new phase in an existing relationship.

Gather together

    * 1 pink candle and 1 blue candle

    * rose or jasmine essential oil

    * 1 or more favorite flowers

    * a bobby pin/hair grip or safety pin

Before dawn, anoint each candle with rose or jasmine essential oil and place them on your altar. Light both candles, lay the flower(s) next to them, and chant:

Healing for Your Love Life: A New Beginning Spell

This spell is excellent to use after a heartbreak or a trying time you may have had in your relationship with a current partner. In the event of a breakup, it may help you meet someone new; otherwise, it can heal hurts between you and your partner and bring on a new phase in your existing relationship. If you are lucky enough to live nearby an untended meadow, you have a garden at your beck and call. Rocket, sorrel, nettles, dandelions, and purslane are there for the taking, along with the beautiful tall flowering weed Queen Anne’s lace, the roots of which are tiny wild carrots. Foraging is good exercise as well as an exercise in economy, as these tasty weeds are free for the picking. All these greens are good for you, and purslane is a genuine superfood, one very high in omega-3 fatty acids. Foraging these wild wonderful weeds is a part of the centuries-old village tradition.
